New CD release by Lovasi András written for the poems of Lackfi János, Hungarian poet with contributions of Vedres Csaba and Gyermán Júlia.
The CD premiering concert was on 7th December, 7:30 p.m. in the Pázmány Szalon of the Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem (1082 Budapest, Szentkirályi u. 28-30.).
Give my regards to Chick Corea – Children's Songs variations: the second CD of Vedres Csaba and the Kairosz quartet is out! The CD contains arrangements of Corea's piano cycle for piano and piano quintet as well as musical commentaries inspired by the pieces.

2006
A concert premiering the first CD
release of Kairosz was held on 7 December, 7 p.m. at the
Szent István Conservatory (Budapest,
XIV. ker, Kolumbusz u. 11.).
The first CD of Kairosz
entitled Áldott idő (Blessed Time) has been released by
Periferic Records!
See the appropriate section for details and
sound samples. In addition of the original compositions, the
CD contains an arrangement of the System of a Down's
song Toxicity, The Siren Song by the Van Der Graaf Generator
as well as an After Crying piece.
A book entitled "Mi az, hogy
könnyűzene?" (What is light music?) written by Csaba has been published. The book
focuses on the Hungarian situation where rock is classified into the category of light
(or popular) music. Thus, the artistic, less popular forms of rock music has
difficulties to get financial and media support.

Kairosz gave a concert together with After Crying on 24th June in Budapest as a part of the "Református Zenei Fesztivál" (Festival of the Music of Reformed Church).
A new CD entitled "Magyar népénekek" of the female Hungarian vocal group Villő was released. The disc contains Hungarian sacred songs. Csaba plays pedal harmonium on the CD.
R.S. 9 Theatre hosted the first four parts of the lecture series "Introduction to the music of the 21st century" for the spring term (from January to April). The aim of this series is first, to answer the question why we feel the music of our age alien; second, to give a panorama of the main styles and genres of 21st c. music. The series will be continued in September.
24th February 11:30 p.m. (Central European Time: GMT+1): broadcast of a part of the solo piano recital given by Csaba on 17 June, 1999 in the Hungarian Radio by Petőfi Rádió.
2nd February 7 p.m., R.S. 9 Theatre: Csaba gives some live music background for the evening spent with the Hungarian painter-writer Karátson Gábor.

23rd of November: Gondolat Városi TV (local TV station of Szentendre) broadcasted a short (10-12 min) summary of the 16th November concert. Starting time between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. Retransmission was on Friday at the same time.
22nd of November, 7 p.m.: the play of R.S. 9 Theatre "A röpülés boldogsága" (dir. Dobay Dezső) was performed at high school Szent Imre Gimnázium (Villányi út). The music of the play was composed by Vedres Csaba.
